Guidelines

In order to give quality care to our patients, we prefer to completely tend to all their needs at the time of their appointment.  A parent or guardian must be present for the appointment. In the event that a parent cannot be present at a child's appointment, please provide us with either a note granting permission to render any services we find necessary or a telephone number where a parent can be reached during the appointment time. 

We realize that, as parents, you are all very busy and pulled in many directions.  Often many of you drop your children off for their scheduled appointments.  However, when that occurs, we do not get the opportunity to talk with you.  Informed parents and patients are foremost to assuring the teamwork we strive for with you.

We appreciate the importance of schooling!  However, in order to receive the best possible care, there will be times when an appointment will be necessary during school hours.

• We reserve morning hours for all children 6 years and younger
• We reserve after school hours for older children and quick orthodontic appointments.
• We reserve our mornings for longer orthodontic procedures or emergencies.
• Morning appointments are highly recommended for any procedure that requires nitrous oxide (N2O).

Monday:   8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Tuesday:  7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Wednesday:  7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Thursday:  8 a.m. – 6 p.m. 
Friday:  8 a.m. – 2 p.m. 

Emergency Appointments

After Hour Emergencies: There is always a doctor on-call after hours to help you. If your problem cannot wait until the office re-opens, then you can call the office number and get the cell number of the doctor on call from the after-hours message.

Orthodontic Emergency Appointment: If a problem occurs, such as a loose bracket, a wire causing discomfort or a lost appliance, please call the office to schedule an appointment to have it repaired or replaced. Priority will be given to patients experiencing discomfort. To maintain our on-time schedule, we request that you always call ahead for an emergency appointment. Students: A valid voucher is provided by our office as an excused absence. As a suggestion, check the class schedules for free periods, lunch time or study hall times as options for appointments.
